The Glitterflex Ultra is a stunning glitter product that has a very high demand. It is one of our most popular products. It has an easy-to-use sticky carrier, which makes weeding a snap. It has actual polyester glitter flakes encased in a high-quality heat-sealing adhesive, which also allows it to be sublimated onto, creating endless design possibilities. GlitterFlex Ultra films are thicker than most of our other films, simply increase the downward pressure of your knife blade in order to ensure clean cuts and easy weeding.
Please note: the Holo Pink, Holo Orange, and Rainbow Clear White (now with a white backing - but still slightly translucent) have limited opacity when pressing onto dark garments, so for best results please test the effect before doing a large run. UPDATE: The neon colors all have an opaque backing, making them opaque.

Application instructions for moisture-wicking materials:

Damp a cloth with rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol), then gently apply it to the area on the garment you want to apply your design. Allow it to dry and apply your material. This will allow better adhesion to the garment.

Application instructions for dazzle cloth & shiny polyester materials:

We highly recommend that you TEST prior to doing large runs. Coated polyester can routinely cause adhesion issues.

Application Instructions

• Cut material in mirror image
• Weed
• Preheat garment for 5 seconds
• Blade: 60°
• Time: 17 - 20 Sec.
• Temp: 330 - 335°F (165°C)
• Pressure: Firm even pressure
• Peel: Warm, use Teflon sheet and repress for 2 sec.
• No nylon. Be advised that dye migration has occurred with low energy dyes in polyester and poly-blend fabrics. Please note: If material starts to separate from the carrier, smooth it back down before cutting.
